"Enriching Minds, Energizing Lives!"

a UNIQUE library

Your Saratoga Springs Public Library is continually growing. Book donations are dropped off almost daily. Many are added to the library collection and others are sold at book sales. We appreciate all donations. Thank you!

We also need donations of time. We presently have fifteen plus dedicated volunteers who regularly come to shelve and straighten returned books, dust and other light duties. Some have been with the library for 1-2 years, others for just a few months. We are looking for a few more volunteers. We’d love to see a few more new faces around the library.  Stop by anytime (M,W,S 10-2 or T, TH (3-7) or give us a call (801)766-6513.

Recent Author Visit

In Stores Now Saratoga Springs Public Library welcomed author J. Scott Savage last Thursday. The line was out the door for autographed books and posters. Bookmarks and a few signed posters are still available at the circulation counter. Savage’s book Case File 13: Zombie Kid is available for checkout at our library. (Well, you might have to request a hold.) We look forward to the third book in the Far World Trilogy February 26th.

New Faces :)

As of the new year, you'll notice a couple of new faces and few of the library's dedicated volunteers who are newly hired staff. We are excited about this because it means we are getting closer to becoming a certified library. Countless hours of dedicated service over several years by many terrific volunteers has allowed this milestone. You'll find, as you're already accustomed, Sue directing the library. Another couple of faces you may be used to seeing, Michelle and Valyn, will be continuing to serve you at the circulation counter. Karen and Anita join the library with a combined 10+ years of professional library experience. And Leslie, with an early childhood degree, will continue to teach entertain children at our weekly Tuesday story times. We look forward to seeing you soon!
