The library is staffed by volunteers.  In order to keep up our services, we really need more people who are willing to commit to 2-4 hours a week.  Contact Sue, 801-766-6513, for more information if you are interested in helping.

Exciting News: Children Section

Keep an eye on the Children's section!  GumDrop Books recently donated more than 40 non-fiction books and the library purchased more than 100 new picture books and board books.  Recently published items will have a yellow dot on the book spine.

Trick-or-Treat!

Trick-or-Treat at the library on Saturday, October 29, 10am-2pm.  Costumes are encouraged!  Treats for all children!

Adult Book Club Update.

Adult Book Club will meet on Thursday, October 20, 10am.  We are reading Whale Rider this month.  All adults are welcome to attend!

Next Story Time!

Story Time on Tuesday, October 18, at 9am and 10am will feature Lyn Burt, a retired teacher.  She will be sharing Halloween stories.

Teen Read Week Update!

Teen Read Week is October 16-22.  The library will have a special event, Picture It!, on Tuesday, October 18, 7:00-8:30pm.  The focus will be on books that have been made into movies.  There will be crafts, computer activities, contests and snacks.  All students in grades 7-12 are invited.

Moon Kit!

The Internation Observe the Moon Night committee has donated a wonderful kit to the library!  This includes a tripod, 20/80 binoculars, a moon globe, and suggested activities for the family.  Anyone interested in borrowing this kit should contact Sue, 801-766-6513.

Book Nook!

The library now has a "Book Nook" where used books may be purchased - hardbacks, $1.00 and paperbacks, $.50.

Moon Party Reminder!

Join us Saturday, October 8,  at 7:30pm for our Moon Party! Activities for all ages. Chick-fil-A cow will be present. Pizza & moon pies provided!

Story Time w/ Police Officers!

Tomorrow, Oct. 4th, we will have a few Saratoga Springs police officers come in for story time to read books regarding our theme "police officers!" Story time is held at the library at 9 am & 10 am.
